A Womp Rat is a Star Wars animal that lives on the desert planet Tatooine. The Womp Rat appears in two video games published by Traveler's Tales; which are LEGO Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy and its follow-up LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga. In the games the animal comes out of large grey and black trash bins and simply runs around. It doesn't harm the player and merely serves as a background character.
In both of the LEGO Star Wars video games it appears on more planets than supposed to from the film's standpoint, which is Tatooine.
On Endor the Womp Rat comes out of a machine off to the side of the battlefield where many creatures and characters come out of to help, such as a Ewok, Rebel Trooper, and then the Womp Rat.

- The Womp Rat is playable by turning on Extra Toggle in both video games, however, it has no special abilities and can only run around.
- The creatures in LEGO Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy and LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga are not Womp Rats. They are actually creatures called Scurriers.
