Wikia Interview Lord Miller LEGO

Now, we've all (okay, maybe not all...) seen numerous fan-made amateur LEGO movies, and I know many of us have seen some of the full-length offerings over the years, (The Adventures of Clutch Powers, Hero Factory: Rise of the Rookies, Revenge of the Brick, etc.) but this will be the first ever LEGO theatrical release.

thumb|300px|right|Wikia asks the Directors of 21 Jump Street about their feature length LEGO film project, currently in pre-production. Check out this video clip featuring Phil Lord & Chris Miller, the directors of 21 Jump Street, as they talk about the upcoming film - already in pre-production!

Warner Bros. greenlit the project back in November 2011 with Lord, Miller, and Robot Chicken's Chris McKay set to direct. According to its creators, the film will be an action-adventure animation/live-action hybrid comprised of approximately 80% animation. We'll have a better idea of the finer details when production commences and more is revealed, but this is definitely an exciting project worth keeping an eye out for.

How do you feel about this project? What do you hope to see in this new film? Would you rather see a film based on existing LEGO characters, or a film with all-new characters? Leave a comment below and share your thoughts with the community. :)
