Super Heroes franchises[]

By the release of the Super Heroes line of sets. It is very likely that TT Games will take action of creating a new video game. Either LEGO Marvel or LEGO DC Comics or possibly a crossover between the two. In fact Traveler's Tales were in fact in plans of creating a LEGO Marvel video game a few years ago however MEGA BLOKS license with Marvel got in the way. It is also possible by the release of The Dark Knight Rises that in summer of 2012 LEGO will release sets based upon The Dark Knight franchise as well as a possible video game.

J.R.R Tolkien franchises[]

Beyond speculation and high rumors bits of evidence have been discovered here and there about a possible LEGO The Lord of the Rings game. Loz Doyle of TT Games wouldn't confirm or deny such production, Doyle stated "It's [Lord of the Rings] got three films - well, plus one if you add The Hobbit. It's got a lot of cool characters. It could definitely work,". He went on to admit that most big-budget franchises would fit the formula. "There are very few things that wouldn't work, don't you think? There is an age limit, and Lord of the Rings is aimed younger in terms of appropriateness. So in that respect they work. Yeah, it would definitely work." With Warner Bros. re-acquiring the rights to the films from EA at the end of 2008 and the fact that WB owns Traveller's Tales, a LEGO The Lord of the Rings seems like an inevitability at this point.

Another bit of evidence was that Variety.com stated that a LEGO The Hobbit demo pitch was presented to Peter Jackson (director of The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings films). In that aspect TT Games may create both LEGO The Lord of the Rings in time for The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey and then LEGO The Hobbit in time for The Hobbit: There and Back Again.
