  • So, I saw The Force Awakens and I would like to see it in a LEGO Star Wars game. In fact, I would like to see the Disney sequel trilogy as a LEGO game. I would like to see voice acting and online co-op. They can add Holodiscs to collect. When you collect holodiscs, a new level can be unlocked and played. You can collect holodiscs to replay past games' levels like Negotiations, Secret Plans and Duel of the Droids. There can be holodiscs for Star Wars Rebels missions, new Clone Wars levels from Seasons 3-6, and new never before seen stories approved by Lucasfilm. However, you don't need holodiscs for the sequel trilogy. You just unlock levels in the sequel trilogy by playing the previous level. And if the game is released before the next two films, the levels for Episodes VIII and IX would be locked until the film's are released. They'd still be programmed on the disc so that they don't have to release an update or DLC. It would just be unlocked by time. There could be free roaming of the different planets in the Star Wars galaxy. Custom characters can be created on Kamino. What are your ideas of LEGO Star Wars IV?

      These are all great ideas!

    • Fyi it's IX not XI and I don't think they've even started work on 8 or 9. I think they should wait and do all 9 in one game and have Clone Wars and Rebels bonus levels. Also, it'd be nice if they made new levels of the first six instead of just using the old ones. (Also it'd be boss to play as Supreme Leader Snoke!) Unless a plot twist occurs and he was really a tiny species. Another cool thing would be new abilities like a force switch which requires a Jedi or Sith to open, or making the bowcaster more powerful and making silver objects that can only be blown up with them or a missile launcher. Also, the entire galaxy as an open world. Imagine running around on (no, I didn't mean to type in) the Death Star or Starkiller Base. More vehicles would be cool like a deliverable Grievous wheel bike, or Kylo Ren's ship. Anyone have DLC ideas?

    • Sorry meant driveable Grievous wheel bike.

Whoops. Man, roman numerals are confusing. But yeah, it'll be good to wait for VIII and IX. It was disappointing when they couldn't add Battle of Five Armies to LEGO Hobbit.

Actually, they started filming scenes with Daisy Ridley and Mark Hamill for VIII on Skellig Michael (the location for the last scene in TFA) last September, and they're supposed to start shooting again in England sometime this month. I think they're kind of doing the sequel tril the same way the Hobbit and the Lord of the Rings trilogies filmed-- shoot scenes in one big marathon, so when post-production's finished putting together the first one, they can get right to work on the second, etc.

As for a LEGO game, I sincerely hope that when they (most likely) make LEGO Star Wars IV they wait until all the movies are done. I'm with everyone else here, I don't want another Battle of the Five Armies sitch. And if they include Rebels bonus levels whenever they make another game, I have only one hope. INCLUDE AHSOKA TANO'S REBELS VARIENT. Because it is AWESOME. :)

    • I have an idea: At the beginning you can choose which order you want to play the films

      Chrono Order: Play Episodes I-VII

Release Order: Play Episodes IV-VI, I-III and VII

Slashed Order (Machete Order): Play Episodes IV-V, I-III, VI-VII

DLC Episodes: Clone Wars, Rebels, Legends

(Another thing: If they did release the other episodes by time, you could simply change the time in your console. Then you'd sorta see the movies early. That'd be bad. Obviously, they'd include updates)

    • I would go the route of Jurassic game. it had two directions take on the original or the world. The new star wars game should allow a branching pass towards episode 1, episode 4 and episode 7 Beating 1 unlocks 2 and that 3. while 4 unlocks 5 that unlocks 6. The clone wars, rebels, and legends could be Dlc or Hub world bonus levels.

        Loading editor
    • Definitely Rebels Ahsoka. What about new vehicles? Kylo's ship? Rey's Speeder? Poe's X-wing? Driveable open world Endor speeder bike? DEWBACK TOTALLY YES! First Order Snowspeeder (I know it wasn't in the actual movie but the Lego set is cool)? Btw for Roman numerals if a smaller number is in front of a bigger one like IV subtract the first from the second. Anyone else have vehicle ideas or planet ideas? Plus, dlc open worlds definitely cuz in Lego Batman 3 it would be cool to have a Bizzaro World or Krypton open world (preferably Lothal and maybe the new base in Rebels) plus, old version of Rex would be cool

        Loading editor
    • Plus, I would just do chronological order it's way simpler

        Loading editor
    • I would prefer more focus on VII, VIII and IX. Don't need to start at Negotiations for the third time. The old levels should just be bonuses while the main story focuses on The Force Awakens and the sequel trilogy.

        Loading editor
    • Btw Kamino would literally HAVE (I can't italicize) to be the custom character planet It'd be cool if you could choose your force abilities rather than just normal except if you pick red like in Complete Saga

Yeah, Kamino's cloning facilities would be a good place to put the character customizor. I even thought of that idea days before you wrote it.

    • I know I was agreeing and I like your idea about not starting on negotiations because your right. I don't have Lego Star Wars 1 but I have The Complete Saga and Negotiations is boring. But, I wouldn't want to have the original 6 movies as just bonus levels though maybe start with the new 3, then do the first 6 in order because I wouldn't just want the new 3, I'd want new, better versions of the first 6. You got any cool character or vehicle ideas?

        Loading editor
    • Plus, if I had my way, they wouldn't usethe old versions of the levels

        Loading editor
    • I would recreate the characters adding abilities to them, change the levels to fit the added abilities. give each movie two chapters with movie 7 have three. I would still have Chapter 1 (episode 1 part 1), Chapter 7(episode 4 part 1), Chapter 13 (episode 7 part 1) selectable at the beginning. I haven't seen Rebels, or legends but with clone wars should be bonus stages/dlc stages. But what would they use as a Hub world? would it have a few like their newer games? for character customization I would have color variations of the lightsabers, do you want a blue double sided lightsaber sure, how about a purple lightsaber designed like the new villain sure. I would have red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, black (I don't think white has ever been a light saber color?) I would like Rebuilt Darth Maul

        Loading editor
    • Ahsoka's Rebels lightsabers are white.

Well, I don't want new levels for the classic and prequel movies. I didn't like the classic levels from LEGO Indiana Jones 2. I would like to revisit old levels in Free Play with Force Awakens characters. Hmm... Would it be another Complete Saga? That would make the first two games even more redundant. Yeah, it should focus on the sequel trilogy.

        Loading editor
    • I still think they should divide the focus between the old and new movies but agree to disagree?

        Loading editor
    • My guess is LEGO Star Wars IV will be based solely on the Rebels TV Show, and will kind of "fill in" the Star Wars role until episode 9 is out. Perhaps it'll be released in 2018 just after/befor episode VII is released.

        Loading editor
    • Rebels doesn't have many characters to work off of. Yet again, neither did the Jurassic Park series

    • Cl142 wrote: I still think they should divide the focus between the old and new movies but agree to disagree?

Nah, the old movies had their spotlight in the first couple of games. It should be about the new movies. We might need to wait until 2019 but it's worth the wait when we remember how LEGO Hobbit couldn't give us the third movie. Though I wouldn't mind having a few classic characters or replaying old levels in Free Play or have bonus levels on Rebels.

        Loading editor
    • I'm rather get a newer one this year with the first movies and a new one when the last of the trilogy, dealing with those movies, the complete saga has 143 characters (counting alt costumes) so if you combine the costumes under the same tabs you could add the new characters and still be around 200 characters which the games are starting to produce

That would not work (no offense)

    • But they did do it with clone wars hmm,

    • By the time a Rebels game could be fully coded, we'd have 3 seasons of it. That's more than enough levels and characters.

        Loading editor
    • For example, here's a list of some characters that could be done (Spoilers though): Ezra Bridger (Normal + Scarred + Imperial Disguise),

Kanan Jarrus (Normal + Stormtrooper Disguise),

      Hera Syndula,

      Sabine Wren,

      Chopper (Normal + Imperial Disguise),

      Zeb,

      R2-D2,

      C3PO,

      Bail Organa,

      Vizago,

      Azmorrigan,

      Lando Calrissian,

      The Grand Inquisitor,

      Ahsoka Tano,

      Yoda (Ghost),

      Captain Rex,

      Commandor Wolffe,

      Gregor,

      Agent Kallus,

      The Fifth Brother,

      The Seventh Sister,

Whatever Sabine's old friend was called,

      Hondo Ohnaka,

      Darth Vader,

      Commander Sato,

      Phoenix Pilot,

      Rebel Guard,

      Storm Trooper,

      Imperial Pilot,

      The Fat and Skinny Officers,

      Tua,

      Storm Trooper Commander,

      AT-AT Pilot,

      Tarkin,

      Imperial Combat Driver,

That weird Rodian with the Lobot head.

This post is far too long already, so I'll end it here. There are enough characters.

    • For Levels, you could follow the episodes that contribute the most to the story. You could follow these episodes for season 1:

      1. Spark of Rebellion

      2. Rise of the Old masters

      3. Empire Day/Gathering Forces

      4. Path of the Jedi

      5. Call to action / Rebel Resolve

      6. Fire Across the Galaxy

Then since season 2 is twice as long, we do 12 episodes for that:

      1. Siege of Lothal

      2. Lost Commanders/Relics of the Old Republic

      3. Always two there are

      4. The Future of the Force

      5. Legacy

      6-12 are unreleased episodes.

      • 2017: LEGO Star Wars V: The Original Trilogy

As a matter of fact it is a trilogy. Plot line of each:

      • One: How the rebels got the Death Star Plans
      • Two: Han Solo's Backstory
      • Three: Boba Fett's backstory
        Loading editor
    • Okay, so explain to me how the stories of those three are connected in any way besides having characters involved in the story that is essentially the aftermath of Rogue One, the Original Trilogy? Where does Han Solo's backstory intersect with the theft of the Death Star plans? Where does Boba Fett get into this before ESB? (Honestly, I question whoever thought making a Boba Fett origin movie made sense. We already know his origin!)

I'm not trying to be antagonistic. Just simple questioning. I write my own stories and aim to become a writer one day, and the first thing I learned about storytelling is that if you're writing a trilogy, things have to intersect. From everything we know about Rogue One, about Han's backstory, and about Boba Fett's career before ESB, these things don't intersect. Therefore, I don't think it really counts as a trilogy. If anything, the Anthology movies are more like the MCU of Star Wars: They're all Star Wars, but they don't all have to connect.

Sorry about getting off-topic. I was just trying to explain my thoughts.

Why would we want remakes of the first two games? I would rather have a game with the sequel trilogy, Rebels and the Anthology series with a bit of content from the other LEGO Star Wars games than to have IV and V rehashing the games we already have. Even if there's new levels for the remakes without anything recycled, I wouldn't want that. I only played LEGO Indiana Jones 2 for Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. The classics in LIJ2 were just bonus content to me. So, just take out the Prequel and Original trilogy games from your lineup and move Rebels, Sequel and Rogue up to LEGO Star Wars IV, V, and VI.

Like, for instance, SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER letting Rey keep the Skywalker saber after the Kylo Ren duel, unlike what Disney Infinity did and have her use it in a cutscene only...

Additionally, there's content from in between episodes 6 and 7 that is exclusive. It sounds very interesting, and I can't wait to find out that plot!
