They said it is highly possible that we will get Age of Ultron sets, since we got sets for the 2012 movie. They did not say it was confirmed, nor did they say that a video game was coming.

    • I think it probably will happen because lego makes every summer wave sets based on a populair Marvel movie (The Avengers, Iron Man 3, GotG) so why not Age of Ultron? the only downside is that they have to make a lot of redesigns. But I can't wait to have Quicksilver, Scarlet Witch, Ultron and Vison!

    • I'm not saying that AOU sets are a bad idea, but don't you think that LEGO need to focus a little more on comics like the first wave of DC sets?

They should've done Captain America TWS sets, Amazing Spider-man 1+2 sets, maybe one for Thor TDW since there was a DLC Pack for the game and could've expanded on The Avengers and Iron Man 3. Just thoughts, I'm not intending to start an argument.

Not all of those movies are worthy of LEGO sets. I think I've made my hated of IM3 clear on this wiki. And I kinda thought Captain America TWS was a little overrated. I mean, how much work did they save all the world's supervillains by a) taking down all of S.H.I.E.L.D. and b) putting all their data on the web? But I digress...

      1) Dude, I really don't think those guys would've been in any danger. I have no doubts whatsoever that Hulk could bring down an entire Helicarrier. Iron Man and Dr. Strange probably could to.

      2) I'm not saying they shouldn't have stopped the bad guys, I just think there could've been a solution that didn't leave the good guys shattered.

Not many real heroes relied on S.H.I.E.L.D., so they weren't really shattered. An appearance from the Hulk would have gone down really well though.

Maybe the heroes didn't. But only 2 or 3 Avengers continued regularly protecting Earth after they went their separate ways. Not to mention Iron Man getting whipped and retiring. Am I the only one here who watched "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D."?

    • And if you watched AOS, you know that after destroying the HYDRA-manned version, they began a new SHIELD from scratch to have it back without the hidden corruption.

Now, the thing is how fitting the Cap 2 movie is for Lego sets. Not so much, because the villains mostly acted secretly, unless they just made a set about the beginning with Batroc. I think the Avengers Assemble set with Red Skull and the HYDRA soldier was a way to compensate the lack of Cap 2 sets.

Thor 2, on the other hand, had a lot of potential for sets about the invasion of Asgard, the fight against Kurse, or the Thor vs Malekith fight in Midgard.

I do watch AOS, but my point is that Cap didn't know it would happen. I just think it was a little reckless of him, that's all.

But moving on, maybe they could do a set with Cap and Falcon fighting the Winter Soldier? Because W.S. really deserves a LEGO set. And those Thor ideas are pretty good.

I stopped watching it a while ago because I started recording Arrow instead. What happened? I know that S.H.I.E.L.D. is Hydra, but what is the 'Hydra-Manned version' referencing?

Does anyone think any Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. sets will come in the future? Because we really need more S.H.I.E.L.D. agents - we only have Nick Fury, Black Widow, and Hawkeye.

    • Before that polybag, I thought Lego didn't have the rights for non-Disney Marvel films, and that the Spidey vs Electro set and the one with the Norman Osborn Green Goblin and MJ were a way to release the closest equivalent possible (using Harry and Gwen wouldn't have been possible, as Gwen doesn't exist in the USM cartoon and Harry is their version of Venom). Now that the actual film Electro is being released as a polybag, I guess I was wrong.

Now that the actual film Electro is being released as a polybag, I guess I was wrong.

I really didn't see ASM2 Electro coming. but of course I still really want it.

It was mainly used to keep him in line but it has been used to fight strong bad guies but if you wonder if banner is in stark tower why build it well we all know what happened to the helicarrier

Never knew there were so many LEGO fans out there like me. :)

    • I was wondering, since they seem to make one subtheme for one Marvel movie a year, which movies they'll make subthemes for after AoU? I mean, in 2016, we get Cap 3 and Doctor Strange. Then, in 2017, we get Thor 3 and Black Panther. Then, in 2018, we get The Inhumans and Captain Marvel. A subtheme for Avengers 3 (Parts 1 and 2) is obviously going to be in there. So what d'you think they'll do?

As far as subthemes go, I'm hoping Cap 3 (Cap's my second favorite Avenger), Thor 3 (for the midevil theme), and Captain Marvel (Carol Danvers, boo-yah!).

    • Avengers 3 is kind of a given. I really want a Captain Marvel theme, because it'd be the first superhero LEGO theme to have a female superhero as the main character. But given LEGO's treatment of female characters (Not counting Friends, DP and the new Elves), I doubt they'd do it...

Don't lose hope there may be a Wonder Woman theme in 2017 with the new movie but may be small compared to the justice league part 1

    • I'm not losing hope. Quite the opposite, I very much hope they'll do it, just as much as I hoped they'd make Sabine a figure for the Rebels line (Which is quite a lot). I'm just looking at it logically. I'm too practical for my own good.

    • Ah, I get the joke now.

I didn't use to think practically or logically. I've just been through hard times, the past five years. Made me a little less happy-go-lucky then I used to be. I'd rather not talk about it.

Yes, but Bill Gates exceeded all standards to the state were his work was on a College level already. And even then, how many people on Earth does your story apply to? Anyway, this is way too off topic. There was an AoU set list released and I reckon I have heard more about the disputable points of logic.

Groot is a size-shifter, and Ultron can transfer his programming to any number of robot shells

    • So, basically he's kind of a disembodied AI that can switch bodies like Jarvis, or is he one robot? I remember reading the specifics, but I can't remember what they were. Time to go back to that Marvel character guide I got for my birthday yesterday...

That part at the end of GotG with baby Groot and Drax. Classic.

true but the ultron i know is eight feet tall and thats how tall he was in the trailer

    • Yikes, that's as tall as the Hulk, isn't it? I'll admit, I'm a bit hazy on the comics, but I'm learning bit by bit; mostly about Hawkeye II, Quake, Ms/Captain Marvel, Stature and Mockingbird though.

Well, it's kinda varied over the years. He's usually a robot who could just build himself newer and more advanced bodies, and remotely control drones. But sometimes he's more like a robot army with a hive mind.

Quick question; who prefers the first Quinjet? I do.

    • I'd prefer to see the movies to redesign the Quinjet closer to the comic ones: a white capsule with wings, and an Avengers "A" on each wing, but that's just me the nostalgic.
