Spider Man 1 was a subtheme of LEGO Spider-Man released in 2002, based in the first movie of the Spider-Man franchise. Columbia Pictures signed a deal with LEGO to produce some sets based on this movie. The first sets were featured under the Studios theme and featured Directors and Actors.
After, in 2003, the sets were no longer part of the Studios theme, and focused on recreating the movie events from the first Spider-Man film with LEGO, like the majority of movie based lego sets.
In 2004, with the release of the Spider-Man 2 subtheme, the Spider-Man theme was disbanded.
