Genie Girl is a minifigure released in 2014 as part of 71007 Minifigures Series 12. It originally will be released in October, but it had been released in Hong Kong on 23 of September.

Description[]

The Genie Girl has a Light Aqua shirt that has short sleeves (represented by two-colored arms) and exposes her midsection, revealing her belly button. The shirt has beads hanging from the bottom edge, and the design continues on the back of her torso. She uses the same color of genie tail as her predecessor, but it has silver sparkles printed on it. The tail blends with her torso due to a slight curve of Medium Azure on the bottom of her torso print. Her face has tan eyebrows, silver lipstick, and silver sparkles. She is winking, as if granting a wish. Her hair is the same as the Dino Tracker's, but in Cool Yellow with a gold hair tie printed on it. She uses the genie lamp piece, and if placed on its stud, appears to be coming out of it at the end of her tail.

"Are you suuure that’s what you want?"

The Genie Girl considers herself to be a professional Wish Consultant. Most genies will grant the exact spoken wishes of anybody who rubs their magic lamps, but she likes to make sure that whoever is wishing really knows what they’re getting themselves into. She doesn’t want there to be any silly wish mistakes on her watch!

The official rules say that the Genie Girl isn’t allowed to tell her lamp’s holder what to ask for, but she can still nudge wishes in the right direction by pointing out their possible accidental down-sides (you wouldn’t want to ask for super-powers and get the proportional speed of a slug, or wish for a castle and end up with one that’s under water). Once you’ve picked the right wish, all she has to do is wink, and it’s granted!

Notes[]

  • Her appearance is somewhat similar to Jeannie from the I Dream of Jeannie television show.
  • She is the third minifigure to have a winking expression, the first two being the Sailor and the Agile Archer.
