The Pokawi is a BIONICLE combiner model, first appeared in 2002. It can be built with the pieces of 8552 Lehvak Va and 8554 Tahnok Va, the instructions were once available on LEGO.com in the "Builts" section.
History[]
The Pokawi species was created by the Makuta using Viruses and Liquid Protodermis to be one of the Rahi to inhabit the Matoran Universe.
In the Po-Metru district of Metru Nui, Pokawi lived in the rocky crags of the undeveloped sections of the desert. Following the Great Cataclysm, a population of Pokawi migrated to the newly-formed island of Mata Nui. Here, they established a habitat in the undergrowth of the Le-Wahi jungle. This colony returned to the Matoran Universe after the Bohrok swarms were awakened to cleanse the island.
Abilities and Traits[]
Pokawi feed on small insects, fruits, seeds, and low-lying vegetation. Its distinctive 'pok-pok-pok' can be heard from quite a distance.
On Metru Nui, the Rahi were rarely faced with any predators due to their high vantage point. On the island of Mata Nui, Pokawi mastered a defensive technique against threatening Rahi, which entailed scattering in all directions and bewildering the foe with the sudden blast of noise and colour.
