Class 4 article
This article is about the Series 13 collectible minifigure. For other evil wizards, see Evil Wizard (disambiguation).

Evil Wizard is a minifigure released in January 2015 as part of 71008 Minifigures Series 13.

He adorns a set of red robes, aligned with golden decorations and a skull emblem. He has a black beard, a scarred face with red eyes and black eyebrows and is bald. His cape is black and decorated with red flames. His accesory is a black staff with a red flame on top of it.

Background[]

The Evil Wizard lives atop a tower located on the peak of a forbidden black mountain. There he figures out spell after spell, trap after trap, evil scheme after evil scheme. He has tried to defeat the heroes uncounted times yet he always fails when attacking. He has no better luck when it comes to defending his tower against the heroes. Despite his scheming and spells, he always loses to the heroes who inevitably overcome his tower's traps.

Notes[]

  • He bears a resemblance to Ming the Merciless from Flash Gordon.
  • He is the second wizard of the Minifigures Series, the first one being Wizard.
  • He has some similarities to the identically-named Evil Wizard from Castle. Both have a black and red color scheme, both have skull emblems adorning their attires, both have red eyes (although the 2007 wizard had one red, one black eye) and both wear capes that have a collar.

“You will never escape my giant crab monsters! Wait, how did you escape my giant crab monsters?”

The Evil Wizard dwells at the top of an impossibly tall tower on the highest, most unscalable peak of a forbidden black mountain. There, he spends the stormy, moonless nights plotting wicked plots and preparing deadly magical traps for any heroes who would dare attempt to thwart his schemes.

But much to his constant surprise and outrage, the heroes somehow always manage to survive his creatures, catacombs and enchanted pitfalls, reaching the top of the tower and ruining his plans. And no matter how many times he waves his sorcerous staff and rants that he’ll get them the next time, things just never seem to go his way. Sorry, Evil Wizard, but that’s what happens when you’re the villain of the story!
