Herobrine is a fictitious Minecraft Character. He has most likely never existed in the game, against popular belief among Minecraft fans.
Description[]
Herobrine looks almost identical to Steve, wearing a light blue shirt and purple trousers and having dark brown hair (while his head is cube-shaped like all Minecraft characters'). However, unlike Steve with his blue eyes, Herobrine has completely white eyes. He also does not have a beard like Steve's.
Background[]
There are different variants of the Herobrine myth: Sometimes he is said to do no more than watch the player from the distance and run away when seen, and sometimes to actively lead the player into traps and steal their items. There even is a variant where he protects the player.
