Requests: Chat Moderator - Administrator - Bureaucrat - Rollback and Patroller

Shortcut:
BP:RfA

This is Brickipedia's requests for adminship page, on which any user may request administrator rights. Administrators have many technical abilities that are used for the maintenance and upkeep of Brickipedia, and a full list of all of the user rights that they have access to can be found at Special:ListGroupRights.

While being an administrator may seem "fun" or "cool", you should consider whether or not you actually have a use for sysop rights before filing a request. Administrators should be active users on Brickipedia with a few thousand contributions who have a good understanding of policies and community discussions here. While being an administrator is not a big deal, it is a significant time commitment, and takes a lot of work. If you are considering nominating yourself for adminship, please read through the checklist to make sure that you meet the criteria.

To file a request, place the following code under the "current requests" header, above any existing requests.

There is an archive here for adminship requests.

Requests made on this page are a vote, meaning that if they achieve at least 80% support then they will be closed as successful. Opposers must provide reasons for opposing. All request will last a minimum of two weeks.

If a user has been nominated for adminship before, add 2 to the end of the topic header. For users with multiple requests, add the respective number of the request. It is also considered good practice to link to previous requests for rights when nominating a user.

Because most of the main users and most of the admins are leaving to Brickimedia and all that will remain here will be new users, people that arn't moving to Brickimedia, and people that will Vandalise this place. This place shouldn't go to hell just because of everyone moves to Brickimedia. I'll spend at least half of my time here trying to keep this place together.
I might be crazy, weird, random, and odd sometimes, but that doesn't stop me from doing good edits, undoing bad edits, and helping any way I can.
I'm not going to go mad with power or block the old users or anything crazy, i'm going to keep this place together.
You might say "Why stay here?", "Go to the Media!", "Bleep this place!". But hey, does it matter, i'm going to hang out at Brickimedia, but be here to not have it go to ruins, since I still have a feeling Brickimedia will be destroyed again.
Don't say "He's not mature.", "I don't like him.", "Who is this guy?". If you worked here for 5 days to 5 years would you want this place, your home, be destroyed? Fire InfernalRaceLord talk, Lord of NothingFire Infernal

  1. I haven't seen much from you lately, mostly blog comments. You're an awesome friend, but I haven't actually seen you do anything that makes me want to support you. --- CM4S (talk) 05:05, January 27, 2014 (UTC)
  2. Per CM4S. Except I've seen Race more often. You're a pretty cool dude, but I don't think you'd make a good admin. Also, I don't really want this place to still be alive. Too much competition. --Knight

Oppose

  1. I don't see too much from you that you would benefit with sysop with. You do fine editing, but you don't need sysop rights to keep editing at the same quality. I don't see you ever working to resolve conflicts between users, nor do I really see you trying to get along with the community (not that you aren't getting along, just that you aren't very outgoing and involving yourself with all of the community). I feel like how you contribute to Brickipedia is great, but you don't contribute in any way I see you benefiting with sysop. Don't get me wrong, you're a great contributor. I just don't see sysop rights as something you'd need. (Also, you do realise it's completely impossible for Brickimedia to go offline like it did last time? If it does go offline ever, the absolute maximum time it can remain offline is a couple hours) --ButchCavendish (talk) 05:14, January 27, 2014 (UTC)
