This is Brickipedia's requests for adminship page, on which any user may request administrator rights. Administrators have many technical abilities that are used for the maintenance and upkeep of Brickipedia, and a full list of all of the user rights that they have access to can be found at Special:ListGroupRights.

While being an administrator may seem "fun" or "cool", you should consider whether or not you actually have a use for sysop rights before filing a request. Administrators should be active users on Brickipedia with a few thousand contributions who have a good understanding of policies and community discussions here. While being an administrator is not a big deal, it is a significant time commitment, and takes a lot of work. If you are considering nominating yourself for adminship, please read through the checklist to make sure that you meet the criteria.

To file a request, place the following code under the "current requests" header, above any existing requests.

Requests made on this page are a vote, meaning that if they achieve at least 80% support then they will be closed as successful. Opposers must provide reasons for opposing. All request will last a minimum of two weeks.

If a user has been nominated for adminship before, add 2 to the end of the topic header. For users with multiple requests, add the respective number of the request. It is also considered good practice to link to previous requests for rights when nominating a user.

I feel, as does CJC and probably some others, that I am ready for these rights. Living in a time zone in which not many other users do, as of what I know, makes me one of the only editors at the time I am online. I have over twelve thousand edits, over nine thousand of them mainspace. I'm pretty sure I have matured a lot since the beginning of this year and hence I have stopped making useless edits, etc. One year ago, and some time afterwards, I mostly used to make useless edits, for example adding links, etc. Now I try making good ones: improving the vocabulary, fixing grammar mistakes, and more. -Legoboy 10:02, September 11, 2013 (UTC)

I think Legoboy's ready for admin. the only black mark on his record is making useless edits to get badges, something which is in the fairly distant past now, and I think that's been addressed pretty well. As he stated in his intro, he's on when most users are not. It's true that he hasn't had much experience user-relations-wise, but seeing as he isn't on chat all that much (that I know of) and mainly sticks to mainspace editing, I'm sure he could benefit the wiki using these rights. --

Wow, this was a surprise. I haven't really gotten to know this guy well. I've seen him edit from time to time, but admin? I don't necessarily think he's ready. That may just be because I've never talked to him much. I don't really know which side to lean on, but this was sudden. Ok. So... I feel that I am ready and worthy of being an Administrator. I've been here since January 18, 2012 (almost 2011) and I've contributed as much as I can and tried to be as active as much as I can. I'm also active on both of the Forums. The last time I was nominated was shortly after I became a Chat Moderator and I jumped ahead. I have 6,000 edits with 3,000 mainspace. (Hopefully :P) Like most of you, I don't focus on badges or how many edits I have, but the quality of edits. I have also made quite a bit (haven't updated that in a while) of C2s, C3s, and pages. I feel that I am ready to be an Administrator because of how much I've contributed to Brickipedia, and I hope you guys agree.
