Background
Natasha Romanoff was Drakoff's daughter and was involved in a hospital fire. When she was a young girl she became a Russian spy. Later in her career she caught the attemtion of S.H.I.E.L.D. They sent Hawkeye to kill her, but Barton refused and Natasha had since owed Hawkeye her life. He persuaded her to start a new life and become an agent of S.H.I.E.L.D.
She became Tony Stark's new aid at Stark Industries under the alias "Natalie Rushman", but was later revealed to Stark by Nick Fury that she was actually working for him, looking after Iron Man for recruitment purposes. She later stormed Hammer's facility looking for Ivan Vanko as the Black Widow freed War Machine from Vanko's control.
Natasha was captured by Russians who managed to figure out she was a spy. In secret, she was getting the information she needed from them. Agent Coulson called her, informing her that she was needed and Hawkeye had been compromised. She broke free, turned the tables on her captors and was tasked with recruiting Bruce Banner to track the Tesseract, which she was successful. She later helped Captain America and Iron Man apprehend Loki. She used her interrogating skills to get Loki to reveal his escape plan, which was to unleash The Hulk. During the attack on the Helicarrier, she attempted to talk with Banner, but failed and tried to outrun the angry Hulk, until she was slammed against a wall, but was saved by Thor. She then confronted Hawkeye, and knocked him out, returning him from Loki's spell.
She later joined the newly formed Avengers team, which also consisted of Captain America, Iron Man, The Hulk, Thor, and Hawkeye, in an attempt and repel Loki and his Chitauri army that were trying to take over the Earth. She took out many of the Chitauri, and rode one of the Chitauri's flying vehicles to the top of Stark Tower, and used the built in shut off switch using Loki's staff. She saw Thor return Loki and the Tesseract to Asgard, and afterwards returned with Hawkeye to the sevices of S.H.I.E.L.D.
She later teamed up with Captain America and the Falcon , another S.H.I.E.L.D. agent, to stop the Winter Soldier and Crossbones, who sought to destroy S.H.I.E.L.D. and the U.S. government.
Sometime later, she fights alongside the rest of the Avengers against Tony Stark's creation Ultron, remarking, "Nothing lasts forever."
LEGO Marvel Super Heroes
She is a member of the Avengers that is called upon to stop Loki, Dr. Doom and the team they assembled from collecting the cosmic bricks to build the Doomray of Doom and ultimately Galactus.
