Beetle is a Marvel Super Heroes minifigure to be released in 2013.
Description
Beetle has a bald dark red head with no accessories printed large bright green eyes and the tech mask he wears. He has dark red body and light grey hands. His torso is printed with light grey armour and a belt. He has backprinting showing the armour and back of the belt.He comes with a new piece featuring backpack type smokey wings with a holographic effect (similar to a few BIONICLE and Hero Factory pieces) on his back and an ADU gun.
Background
Beetle is an enemy of Spider-Man working for Dr. Doom that appears in Ultimate Spider-Man.
Spider-Man and his team are assigned by Nick Fury to protect J. Jonah Jameson after he goes on tirade on Beetle. That prompts Beetle to try to assassinate Jameson and things get personal for Spider-Man when Mary Jane Watson gets in the crossfire. Most of the team are defeated with knock out gas, and Spider-Man fights Beetle on his own, until the team wakes up and defeat Beetle, with no causalities but most of the DBC building is destroyed. Jameson is revealed not to be in his office, instead reporting on a monitor and Beetle is locked up.
