This article is about the Nexo Knights minifigure. For the Atlantis minifigure, see Axel Storm.

Axl is a Nexo Knights minifigure released in 2016.

Description

Regular

Axl features a new torso piece, the lowest part of it looks like a regular torso, the highest part is made to resemble the armor used by the other knights. Axl has a new headpiece with horns coinciding with his trademark bull crest. His arms connect to the torso via a different method than other arms connect, and because of that, the arms are manually connected by the builder. This is different than other minifigures, which come preconnected to the torso. He also has a protruding lower tooth and a black mohawk.

Ultimate

His ultimate form has the same armor and helmet, but in orange and transparent orange respectively. The design of his torso and legs is the same as his regular form, but with orange and dark orange replacing the grey and silver colors.

Background

Axl is one of the Nexo Knights of Knighton. He is always hungry, for justice and for food. Mostly food, though.

Description The very hungry giant
Weapon Big power axe
Vehicles Tower Carrier
Skills Eating, playing the electrical lute
Dislikes Being hungry, diets, people who make fun of his family
Likes Eating, the TV-show “Cooking with Flip and Flay”

Axl grew up in a rustic, little town in mining country. He is big, strong and always hungry. Sometimes for fighting, but mostly for something to eat. All that training knight stuff, playing the electrical lute or a computer game with Aaron, can really work up an appetite. Axl doesn’t talk so much, but he is always ready for a little snack. And a big one. And ten more.

Notes

  • His name is a pun on "Axe".
  • He is currently the only minifigure to use his torso mold.
  • His emblem appears to be based on the emblem employed by Cedric the Bull in the original Knights Kingdom in 2000.
