|Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitzu|
|A Time of Traitors|
A Time of Traitors is the sixty-seventh episode of Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitzu and the third episode of season seven.
Having successfully kidnapped Cyrus Borg, Acronix and Krux dispatch their Vermillion forces-under the lead of Commander Machia, Commander Raggmunk, and Commander Blunck-to kidnap various artisans from across Ninjago. Meanwhile, with Zane out of commission and no ready leads on the latest threat, the Ninja split up: Cole and Jay accompany Nya to the Samurai X Cave with Zane in hopes of repairing him, Kai goes to the Ninjago Museum of History to see Dr. Saunders about a piece of Vermillion armor they recovered, and Lloyd remains at the Temple of Airjitzu to keep an eye on Wu. Upon Kai's arrival, Krux dons his Dr. Saunders disguise and attempts to get him to leave, but finds the Fire Ninja to be a persistent nuisance that he has to restrain Acronix from attacking for fear of exposing their operation. Meanwhile, Nya's group are able to access Zane's memories and learn that Saunders and Acronix were his attackers, destroying their previous illusions as to the benevolent nature of the doctor and Acronix's apparent demise. Cole and Jay quickly leave to deal with the Vermillion kidnappers while Nya goes to the museum to warn Kai, unaware that P.I.X.A.L. is growing more and more worried about her captured creator.
Just after Kai makes a connection between the Vermillion armor and the Hands of Time, Krux inadvertently blows his cover, leading to a battle between the two. During the struggle, Krux claims that Kai's father and mother were allies of the Hands of Time against the other Elemental Masters, and Kai's anger over the pronunciation allows Krux to get the upper hand. Acronix then joins the fight as well, only for Nya to arrive just in time to back up Kai, with the pair also discovering the captive Cyrus Borg. The Ninja Siblings best the Time Twins, but the victory is short-lived as Acronix uses his Time Blade to enable his escape with Krux and Borg.
