  • The design of the palace led to claims by the Turkish Cultural Community of Austira of racism, for allegedly basing it on Hagia Sophia mosque, Istanbul, and that the minifigure depicted Asian and Oriental people as having "deceitful and criminal personalities"[1]. LEGO released a statement denying the claims, stating that both the palace and the minifigures were based on the original films. [2]
