7704 Sonic Phantom is an Exo-Force-themed set released in 2006. The set includes one minifigure, a Green Devastator.
Description
Like all 2006 Exo-Force sets, the battle machine was equipped with a light-up brick although it did not have the fiber-optic cable.
The basic build of the ship was a long bar made up of TECHNIC pieces. At the front, two turbofans connected on, facing forwards. They had guns in the center.
The ship had a missile launcher in the center of it. It could be fired by pulling the trigger, which was underneath the body. There were long TECHNIC pieces at the back and front which curved downwards. The ones at the front connected the turbofans on, and the ones at the back served to support the ship and provide a handle, by which the Sonic Phantom could be held. The handle was positioned in such a way that the trigger could be easily pulled.
At the back of the ship, there were two more turbofans, horizontally orientated this time. They had guns on them which could independently rotate right round from facing forwards to backwards, maybe 270 degrees in total. The arms which held the turbofans up could hinge up and down.
The pilot, a Green Devastator, sat at the back of the ship, next to the rear turbofans. Behind him, there was a long antenna, which could hinge up or down. At the extreme rear of the ship, there was a black engine, which could rotate 360 degrees.
In front of the pilot, there was a transparent brick meant to be used as a control panel. In front of that, there was a "sonic screamer" piece which also appeared in 7655 Clone Troopers Battle Pack. There were also one of them above each of the front turbofans. In front of that, there was the light-up brick and the missile cannon below it. When the trigger was pulled, the missile would fire and the power core would light up. Connected to the power core was a red lightsaber blade, and some other bricks. Around each side of the ship were two thick cables.
Notes
- The set's alternative model is called the Speeder Phantom.
