The Hobbit is een thema, uitgebracht onder licentie van Middle-earth Enterprises, vroeger bekend als Tolkien Enterprises, dat werd geïntroduceerd in mei 2012 op basis van de actie/avonturenfilms van Peter Jackson, die op hun beurt zijn gebaseerd op de boeken onder dezelfde naam van J.R.R. Tolkien.

Samenstelling

Het thema, gemaakt onder LEGO's productlijn SYSTEM, bestaat uit de minifiguren van de personages, locaties en accessoires. Naast sets, werden sleutelhangers, een bordspel en een videogame uitgebracht. Op de site werden de figuren beschreven, konden kleurplaten, posters en achtergronden worden gedownload, een online game worden gespeeld en videoclips worden bekeken.
