A brilliant scientist, Hank Pym was the creator of the original Ant-Man suit. After years performing covert missions for the clandestine agency S.H.I.E.L.D., Pym retired, believing his talents better served in the sciences. When he realized the need to protect his greatest creation from powers that would use it for evil, Pym enrolled the help of Scott Lang, training him to be the newest hero to don the incredible Ant-Man suit.
