Colonel Colt Carson,[1] also referred to as Cavalry,[2] is a Western minifigure released in 1996. He has appeared in six sets.

Description[]

Colonel Colt Carson wears a bright blue cavalry uniform with white gloves and a bright blue hat. His hat is usually cowboy hat, but has also been represented with a military cap. In most appearances, he wears a white neckscarf. He has a face printed with grey eyebrows and a grey beard, which is shared with Black Jack Hawkins.

In 5702 LEGO Chess, Colonel Colt Carson wears bright red instead of blue when on the black side of the board.

In The LEGO Movie Videogame, Cavalry's face printing has been updated to resemble a contemporary minifigure print, but still retains the grey facial hair.

Background[]

Colt Carson is a colonel in the Cavalry. He works with Sheriff Wild Wyatt West to apprehend bandits such as the Thompson Gang.

In The Good, The Bad, And The Ghostly, Colonel Carson and Sheriff West come across the Thompson Gang's camp on the Outlaw Trail. While warming up at the campfire, they swapped ghost stories, with Carson telling the others about ghosts at Fort Laramie and Fort Legoredo.

In 5702 LEGO Chess, Colonel Colt Carson acts as the rook of the Western-themed chess set. He is armed with a cannon, which he often employs during capture cutscenes.

In The LEGO Movie Videogame, Cavalry makes a cameo as a citizen of The Old West hub. He can usually be found wandering near the burning building. However, he is only unlockable as a playable character in the handheld versions.
